What Taylor Swift declares is true "When you're 15 and somebody tells you they love you you're gunna believe them". The sad truth is that this person you love at 15 will more then likely not be with you forever. I met someone I was sure I was going to marry when I was 15. It was kind of like the situation in Dear John all the feelings were there but sadly we were in the wrong time and place. He was older then me and I believe I was mentally older then a lot of girls my age so its not like we were two little kids in love, it felt very real and I still love him. I think you never forget the person you first love, and I believe if you truly love a person you will never stop, your love for them just evolves.
Life would be too simple if you got to stay with the first person you fall in love with. Being a girl I'm not sure of, and probably will never know, the inner workings of the male mind but I think everyone at one point in their life knows the hollow feeling in your chest that is a broken heart. Its a part of growing up and I don't think its something that I will ever be able to avoid, but I can learn how to cope, I HAVE to learn how to cope if I am going to continue to be in a relationship of any kind.
This life is not perfect, it will never be so don't expect it to be. It is too easy to get caught up in depression, we have to find our own joys in this world. I still wish I was with the person I fell in love with when I was 15 but I won't let that prevent me from believing that there is someone out there who is right for me and I'll be with for the rest of my days.
